MadeInSenecaFalls.com was created by Seneca Falls Mayor Diana Smith and her daughter, Cecilia, who together design and make art jewelry as gifts and to donate to local organizations for charity auctions.
When more and more people asked Diana to design pieces for special occasions, she decided to form Herstory Designs and to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Seneca Falls Heritage Area. She then decided to create a web site where items could be sold.
Because she knows so many talented local artists, Diana soon realized there was a need for such a venue for ALL artists who are inspired by the special history of Seneca Falls. MadeInSenecaFalls.com was born.
Still in its infancy, the web site is maintained by Mayor Smith, and is growing and developing each week. Please be patient as artists will be added over time.
Diana is proud of her community, its history, and the continuing story of human rights, which can be expressed in so many ways. You will be amazed at the creative expressions featured at MadeInSenecaFalls.com.
